It takes some getting used to reading in a southern style dialect. However I truly loved the story and the strong family values and relationships Janette Oke writes about.

Excellent! We all need to be reminded about the struggles of preteens face from within. Only love and guidance from us through Jesus love can bring them to the adult years secure. Timeless reading indeed.
