I hate how America cheats on Prince Maxon ,she likes Maxon, and she said there are "us" in them but she can't be contented. I wish Aspen could do better on the One ( in terms of not asking for secret dates and the likes) ... still waiting. I mean they have history, yes but he must understand that if America is fighting for the crown he must stop on asking her on secret dates because he is making her confused and correct me if I'm wrong, HE WAS the one who made America enter it ( the selection) so he must not act like a pity because he's the reason why America is in that state right now... I like the selection more than this and I'm excited for "the One" :) I'm on team Maxon <3 peace out on team Aspen's but I like Maxon more for America that's all bye!

Basically this book could've been cut to 50 pages. This whole serious dragged on with very little meaningful action. Listened to this on audiobook and actually found my mind wandering from the story. As in the other books, the world building is as weak as a newborn babe, with equally strong dialogue. America's indecisiveness, impulsiveness, and hypocrisy make her as easy to hate as rush hour traffic. Save yourself the pain and jump to the end of The One to find out how it ends.

This 2nd novel reveals the realities of a unfairy tale. The Elite tells you the truth behind everyones characters and some shockingly scary consequences when secrets are out in the open and shows you the sad truth... So you must read the 1st novel to understand this one completely when America's world is turned up-side down when she was the one who turned it in the first place. Brilliant novel, so well written, and worth your money! Must Read!
