I miss the true Edward and anita books. I felt a bit cheated. It was more like edward had a cameo. I would like to see some prequel books I think that anita is so overpowered now that the fear of her death or injury is not remotely possible. I also feel that how she was 'captured' was bull. It was a cop out cause 3/4 of the book was wasted on all these inter personal issues.

Laurell I've read all your Anita Blake books and I'm just starting to get in to the Princess Marideth series. You're a spactacular writer. Please keep up the Twisted work! I find it spactacular. Hopefully Ted can make more of a appearance, and actually see Anita Dominate Olaf metaphysically. Please Keep Writing... Love your books All of them thus far

I came across this series after reading Skin Trade, then learning there where 11 books before that I was thrilled. I've been an avid reader ever since! This book didn't quite hit the mark for me. The story telling is superb but I felt it took too long to reach a climax and when it did it was only a short ride. Can't wait to see what the next one has in store tho
