It took me a while to finish this book. I read and loved the first series. I love that it told me what happened between Lia and Rafe after their story. I loved the new Rahtan characters and Kazi. I got to see her strength and eventual softness grow for Jase and his family. I knew something had to be up with that random last chapter and I am so excited to find out what happens. I usually read YA romance, and though there is a slow burn to the romance in these books- they are just so beautifully written. It's full of adventures, great characters, and a different world. I am so happy the author continued writing in this world she created so I could revisit it. highly recommend the ramenant series.

Another compelling novel with spellbinding imagery following the Remnant Chronicles. I couldn't stop reading and am eagerly waiting for the next installment. Mary E. Pearson is truly a gifted author.
