This is the prequel to the Kings of Rittenhouse series and at the time that I read it, the book was offered as a free read. Best buy so far this year LOL. Can not begin to tell you how author Maya Hughes is writes this prequel and grabs you in such a way that you are rushing off to download the second book next book in the series Ruthless King. This book tells us how it all started. We get to know all of the Kings... an ice hockey team from a prep school called Rittenhouse. But it's not just them so beware there is so much more than that. And yes it gets you all ready and warmed up to hit the ice for the next book in this series as well.
