About the author

Pamela Dean’s love of storytelling and language emerged at an early age, feeding her passion for writing. After graduating from SUNY Albany, she began teaching English in 1972. She lives in Michigan with her husband and currently works as a high school English teacher in the Plymouth-Canton School System.
