Like the other sandman novels(not counting the 1st) it repeats its self alot, So reading them back to back might not be such a good idea. But never the less still a fun read.

Not the most action packed book in the series. it seems as though it's more of a "bridge" book leading to a expected climax in the next book in the series. Excellent character building and entertaining in every way. Truly looking forward to the next book. I'm certain that as always it will be amazing

But I liked it, good character development... which is the problem. Sandman Slim is a monster, a "antihero, a badguy. So when he only go's badass at the end it doesn't feel right. I'm still reading the next one though. :-)
