About this ebook

California landscape artist Estelle Donovan hates big cities. Between the grime, the smell, all the drab concrete, and the suffocating summer heat, how can anyone breathe? Housesitting her brother's New York apartment, complete with broken elevator and smoking air conditioner, is her kind of hell. It's only for two weeks, though. What could possibly go wrong?

Dumping a jar of pickles on the hot girl at the grocery store wasn't Crosby Chase's finest hour, nor was getting bitten in the butt by the demonic cat on her fire escape. But he is going to change her mind about his beloved city, damn it. In fact, if they could just make it five minutes without falling into bed, he bets Estelle he can find five things she'll love about New York.

Falling in love wasn't part of his plan. And with an entire country between them, Crosby realizes he doesn't need five reasons to make Estelle love New York.

He needs one big reason to make her stay...

How would I describe this story? Five Things I Love About You is an endearing, delightful and sexy read with enchanting characters and a wonderful plot. Kind of a modern day twist on Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew. Sarah Ballance has written a lighter version of unexpected love, but with no less emotion and much more sex appeal. I enjoyed it and am sure that others will too. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Funny, sexy, and completely entertaining! A quick light read that had some hilarious laugh out loud moments. Estelle finds herself stuck in NYC helping out her brother. Problem is, she hates the city. The concrete, the crowds, the smell all make this country loving landscaper crazy. After a funny mishap in the grocery store, Estelle finds herself being escorted back to the apartment by Crosby Chase. City boy through and through. Through some witty banter, they make a bet that Crosby can change her mind about the city in 2 weeks. The plan - have a little fun, enjoy her company. No where in the plan was falling in love!! This is a great read that I highly recommend!

when I first started reading books it was simple romance books from the used book store for a book. They were around 200 pages, had enough plot to be believable without the "their is no way that all happened in that time frame" with the collection of ebooks, I've recently lost a lot of that simplicity and found books that are much longer with twisted plots that don't add up. so I'm thankful when I find books like this to remind me of why I enjoy reading so much. Five things I love about you is an easy, humorous read with Crosby trying to prove to Estelle that their are things to love about NYC. this leads to some funny moments, sexy moments, sad and playful. makes for a delightful day read out in the sun. I'm looking forward to reading more lovestruck books!

About the author

Sarah and her husband of what he calls "many long, long years" live on the mid-Atlantic coast with their six young children, all of whom are perfectly adorable when they're asleep. She never dreamed of becoming an author, but as a homeschooling mom, she often jokes she writes fiction because if she wants anyone to listen to her, she has to make them up. (As it turns out, her characters aren't much better than the kids). When not buried under piles of laundry, she may be found adrift in the Atlantic (preferably on a boat) or seeking that ever-elusive perfect writing spot where not even the kids can find her.
She loves creating unforgettable stories while putting her characters through an unkind amount of torture-a hobby that has nothing to do with living with six children. (Really.) Though she adores sexy contemporary romance, Sarah writes in many genres including historical and ghostly paranormal romance and romantic suspense. Her ever-growing roster of releases may be found at http://sarahballance.com.
