I tried reading the gender reverse version but I couldn't continue past a couple pages. My mind wouldn't allow me to replace Bella and Edward with any sort of commitment or enthusiasm. I loved reading and getting sucked into the Twilight world a few years ago (not so much the movies tho.) Since it's the 10yr anni, I think I'll reread the real thing! :) Congrats Stephenie on all your success!

Title really says it all but I'll explain y. Reading Life & Death was like reading Twilight after it had gone through the garbage disposal. Beau (the male version of Bella) was exactly like Bella, she didn't change the makeup of the characters just the names, really! I couldn't get through chapter one. So I skipped ahead and became sick. The gall this woman has astounds me. Midnight Sun was started on before Breaking Dawn and it's "not done" Bull! Meyer's you're supposed to be a writer. Write!

As if breaking dawn wasn't bad enough now the author has to punish us with this garbage! Twilight is wonderful, please stop writing. Life and Death is just beyond silly. The writing is so awkward. I don't get it. The editor must be on drugs. Can't wait for SNL to get their hands on this. Actually, I can't believe someone published this. I can't believe someone would read the free sample of life and death and then pay 12.99 to read more. Is this a joke? It must be. Lolololololol
