This book...how to even begin explaining it. This book has honestly touched me to my core. I first read this book just fooling around but it was so real, so in depth. I fell in love with it. Every word from every song, every poem, every bit of dialogue. I checked it out a few times from the library just to read it more in depth. I had moved to a new state and couldn't get the book out of my head but I couldn't find it anywhere. I finally found it and just bought it. And man am I glad I did. The book hit me just as hard as the first time. An emotional rollercoaster that I could relate to on so many levels. My life wasn't exactly like Jamie's was but it made me feel like I wasn't alone. Like I wasn't the only one making hard decisions, or growing up too fast, or being alone in life. This book really allowed me to be myself without worrying about what others thought of me. I'm so thankful I found this book and I will reread it till I've memorized every word. Masterpiece, plain and simple!

Read it in less than a week. Now I must go through those songs he referenced!
