I enjoy the characters that Box creates. I grew up in Wyoming and feel like I have met some of these folks. Box is a gifted storyteller and I am always looking forward to the next Joe Pickett adventure.

As usual,C.J.Box nailed this story. It was great to see Nate back in one of these stories. I enjoyed the action, and the pacing was well done. A really terrific read.

This author could do a lot better. Read the early books to see what he is capable of when he is at the top of his game.
