What the heck? It appears Mr. Cook had no idea how to end this book so he just stopped writing. If there is to be a sequel, the ending (and I use that term *very* loosely) certainly does nothing to set it up. The story was ok, but the ending...or non-ending...only served to detract from the enjoyment of said story. I haven't read any of Cooks books lately because the last one I read was lame. Guess I won't be reading any more.

Really, James Cook? Did your professor assign a number of words, and you opted not to go beyond? The lead character is annoying, but we are invested in her. So, after her father kills off a couple of scum bags, you go directly to a prologue. REally. Not good James Cook. Not good.

Pure genius. Robin cook writes fiction with such knowledge on the subject that in the not to distant future can become reality. Awesome book. I'm now a fan, and will be reading more from cook.
