I love to play this game... but... it gets very difficult to advance (resource costs) but the ability to earn it doesn't increase. Fun for a few weeks, then becomes too much effort for little advancement. The game cheats (builds units in cities that are not at the level needed) and when it crashes, you lose hours of game time. Also, if I had known there was a new version, I'd have played that rather than spend money on an old version. Time to find another game now.

Truly incredible game. Love it. Some things I'd like to see in future games in the series: when you take over cities, they should have an area around them that becomes your color. Simply marching over land shouldn't change it to your color unless the land itself is a resource as in WC2. This would make it much easier to zoom out and see what you control

the game is great and i think it has a lot of potential, but some things need to be fixed like how your allies are weak and dont do much and how your enemies are much stronger than they would be if you played as that country, which makes it hard to win playing as most countries. i did manage to beat 1943, but it took 100 turns and with no help from my allies. also, later on in the world conquest games, the A.I. almost stop working, like not producing as many troops, or not defending. please fix.
