editing this review to correct my previous statement, as the audio file duplication bug is not the fault of this app but rather a strange bug with SD cards and android's storage system perfect music app, blows everything else out of the water, its free, its accessible, it has gapless playback, not much else to say really

Works well with my headset buttons, I can skip back tracks with long press, it has some detailed settings about audio focus, there's a trick in the settings that make "albums" function as a folder player, all of which are great. One star's missing because the app is ugly, for example, look at the artist, track and album names in the now playing section or when you list the contents of an album, they could be much better. Also, you cannot reach the settings unless you're in "now playing" section.

Highly recommended. One of the best (of the free) audio players, if not the best. (Almost) Perfect! Clean and simple interface. Meaningful features focused on what is really important without falling for gimmicks and the everything-social-pandemic. Add to this: NO ADS, FREE / OPEN SOURCE CODE, and FREE OF COST - it cannot get much better than this. The main feature I find missing most, though, is lyrics integration 🙏🏼. Thank you!
