Fight for the Faction you believe in. Harness the power of XM to evolve mankind and discover our true destiny with The Enlightened, or protect humanity from a hostile takeover of the mind with The Resistance.

BATTLE FOR CONTROL

Dominate territories by linking Portals and creating Control Fields to achieve victory for your Faction.

WORK TOGETHER

Strategize and communicate with fellow Agents in your neighborhood and around the world.

Agents must be over 13 years old (for residents outside of the European Economic Area); or over 16 years old or such age needed to consent to the processing of personal data in the Agent's country of residence (for residents of the European Economic Area). Unfortunately, no children may play Ingress.

Ratings and reviews

the overall gameplay loop of hack, build, destroy is a fun one, however, the game seems to be getting progressively worse with each update. The game freezes and crashes other apps in doing so, it will forcibly pause or stop music playing through Spotify. login issues are also becoming more prevalent and the only way to login sometimes is by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. they will always blame your connection for this even if other apps can access the Internet just fine, 3/5 and dropping

The game does come with the occasional bug, such as infinite loading screen, but otherwise the game is smooth and is comprehensive in its gameplay. There are some stability issues around sanctioned events (Anomolies and FS) but otherwise it's stable and enjoyable. This game is definitely for someone looking to get out and explore the world and play a game at the same time. A word to the wise, this game can and may consume you, especially when nominating new points of interest within the game.

Love this game. Hope it never shuts down ♡ Edit: For the bounty system, the Glyph daily challenge doesn't seem to wanna track properly or at all. Oct 3rd, 2025 edit: Great work guys. Wish levelling up was more helpful when you reach 8. like a menu popping up saying exactly what you need to do and the requirements. Also maybe if the campaigns were level-based and not time-based. (sometimes I don't have the time to go out and do what it's asking for)
