The game is a wonderful idea and has great potential. However, it is completely unbalanced. Right from the start you are forced to spend as you are outmatched. Losses lose progress, so there is no grinding out to next levels to get strong enough to compete, hence, forced to spend money. The troops you unlock are random, and even the best strategy can be thwarted by a single lucky draw by the opponent.

While overall fun for a while. Unfortunately, this game falls into the same path as all the other ones that are like it. If you hit stage four or five and if you are a free player, you might as well just hang it up. You will immediately start losing about eighty percent of your battles unless you were "Lucky" or paid for chest to get gold and upgrade shards for legendary units. And you can't earn gold or diamonds in a way that's productive for long-term playing of this game as a free player.

its a decent game at its core. But your opponent when you get to level 4 or 5 is always much stronger then you. And for some reason they can get the legendary characters one after anouther. I had 1 game last less then 45 seconds because of that. they had pulled 4 druids 3 juggernaut, 2 frost dragons all within 20 seconds. you can't do anything at that point
