Ratings and reviews

App wqs working pretty well until two days ago. I've had plenty of matches on here and talked to some really great people (even met up with a couple of 'em). Tried premium, it was fine, but not worth it unless you're living in a big city or an area with good, cheap public transport/fuel. However, the app doesn't seem to load anyone anymore and a notification at the bottom of the screen states this is a bug. I also haven't been getting notifications for messages since.

Canceling your subscription is a nightmare. It is extremely easy to make purchases in the app. Subscriptions are automatically recurring, but you can not cancel in the app. You have to go through Facebook or Twitter, how that makes sense, I have no idea. You get to a bot that works half the time. Sift through pages and pages of non applicable information. Customer support may respond in 2 days. All for something that should have been available in the same interface that the customer uses. Shady.

It's a downright scam. Exorbitant pricing for premium features and the free version is utterly useless. Dating apps are already predatory when it comes to the male demographic's wallet, and Bumble is simply following the same trends. The worst part is that you don't receive any feedback unless you get a match, so you could be wasting time and money while pulling out your hair trying to figure out how to improve your profile. Honestly, use Boo. It has 10 times more effort put into it.
