Ratings and reviews

Constantly resource starved, in and out of match. Cannot power things up enough to deal enough damage and very unforgiving. If you place the wrong kind of unit early in the match, you WILL NOT progress. And then you will be punished with a video. You can supposedly take down aspects of the environment to get more resources, but they give scraps and block a large chunk of the map to where you have to fight through them just to place turrets to hope to fight off what is currentlyhitting your base.

This is a great minimalist pick-up & play TD game that serves a strategic challenge where you are required to be creative and explore a variety of approaches to succeed. . . until you get toward the end of second season: From then on, unless you want to painstakingly replay the same levels repeatedly, the only way to make enough currency for the upgrades you'll need is to make irl purchases. If it weren't for this, I'd give it a solid 4 stars. As it stands, I give 2.5/5.

It could've been better. I mean, there are levels that are too hard that getting a 1 star is a remarkable achievement. You also don't get enough time between waves/rounds to destroy rocks n trees(which has a huge HP that it takes like a minute to loot) to get enough coins to build turrets. It is annoyingly bad. The design is good but the gameplay experience is just plain horrible. I mean, this ain't a strategy game, it's a game designed to annoy players.
