Ratings and reviews

The stories, characters and art styles are absolutely amazing and there's a type of story for everyone. I love the app. But! as great as they are it is often frustrating because every few choices there is a paid/special choice to make that without hearts/sapphires, you can't do. There's no option for free hearts and you get a small amount of sapphires daily (7th day is a good amount). I understand that the artist need to be paid for their work but damn, it's impossible sometimes.

Insanely laggy, unfriendly and clunky UI, not to mention the blatant cash grab. If there were login rewards, it'd be worth it. Yet, I have to keep logging in and pray for any surprise promos, which are often not much compared to normal prices. Not to mention the fact that there are TWO kinds of premium currency?? And in some scenes, they're not even interchangeable!

The stories on Dorian are great! However, the way the hearts are used are really frustrating. A lot of interactions have really high heart costs, but aside from special sequences don't actually provide a lot of in-game incentives like spark, bloodlust, or other progression methods. This makes it really hard to play without lots of micro transactions, which is very frustrating given the aforementioned lack of incentives for spending money on hearts. Also, unclear what gems are for.
