I recently downloaded this app because I hit financial rock bottom and needed a way to bounce back from that. Although I was in the process of signing up to be a tasker, now I'm going with some other app that doesn't engage in surveillance just to verify I'm on the job site or to process my payments. As long as my would-be manager can confirm I was there by signing off on my attendence, performance, tasks, etc, that should be the only the verification required.

I used to be able to find something on here to do fairly regularly to help when my retail job wasn't providing me enough hours. Meijer used to be my main go to but now they never post anything anymore. Kinda hard to work when there are no jobs out there that are where I live. Kinda hard to make a living working when the jobs are so far away that the Uber cost to get there and back is over half or more sometimes of what I'm making at the job.

Payment is not guaranteed. Unfortunately, when working through "stocking" for the grocery stores (particularly Meijer), they'll require you to stock 300 cases for a flat fee of $101. The problem is, the store gets to decide how much "300" is. According to Hyer support emails, 300 cases will fluctuate depending upon the "customer" aka, the grocery store employee. Hyer stated during a dispute of mine that it should have taken me 7.5 hours to complete this task paying only $101. I was paid $8.
