Ratings and reviews

I use Freelancer to find remote jobs and projects. The app is okay and easy to use. But my main problem is: to bid on every project, we need $20 in the wallet. If we don't have $20, we cannot place a bid. For new freelancers, this is a big risk because we have to invest money before even getting any work. Also, there are too many ads that disturb the app experience. Overall good, but they should make it easier for beginners.

The app stucks in the opening animation forever. Very annoying and boring. Edit: Upon checking the app data usage, I found out that it was downloading some files for the first time opening. That's even more annoying now. You could just show a progress bar, instead of that super fast flashy animated logo and completely irrelevant motto "Make it real". Make what real?

This platform gives much more importance to clients than vendors. Even when a vendor is clearly right, their concerns are not properly heard. The support chat often repeats the same responses without understanding the actual issue, so no real solution is provided. Because of this, vendors can lose money and their profiles may also be negatively affected. A fair platform should listen to and support both clients and vendors equally.
