I initially couldn’t get past the onboarding screens because the Google, Facebook, and email login options weren’t working. After closing and reopening the app, I was finally able to log in. However, the issue was still frustrating and made for a poor first impression.

The app seems to have a standard catalog of words and pulls its translation from a dictionary DB. It is not customized to learn Russian specifically. For example, why on earth the application translates thirsty in two length words that no one uses in Russian and exist only as a literal translation but doesn't help in any context. This is neither helping to have in my second week of learning nor going to be part of conversational language.

Been using for about a week. The lessons are easy, although very repetitive but that's the same with most language apps. The only issue I've had is with the voice recognition being terrible. It isn't required to pass lessons, but hard to practice pronunciation when you're saying a one syllable word and it shows something crazy like you said a 3 syllable word that starts with a different letter. I would also recommend learning Cyrillic before using the app, unless your focus is only on speaking.
