Because the Upwork app didn't notify me, I have lost two prospects for not responding on time. Getting clients to respond to your proposal has been hard and on two separate occasions where they did, Upwork sent no notification. The first time I knew later through my email the second time, nothing. I checked Upwork app just to see I had been sent a message two days ago. This is not fair!!!!!! The app always has one issue with Android I have checked all the notification settings. It is on!

Upwork is a great app, but I have something to suggest. 1) Add a feature that warns clients for not responding/declining job proposals after a week, it's getting unbearable. 2) The clients should close jobs posting they no longer have a use for if they hire freelancers. The overcrowding of abandoned job posting is too much. 3)Add a feature(for freelancers) to blacklist certain clients and never have their jobs appear on the feed again, this is for those who spam multiple fake jobs!

Been using this for nearly half a decade and it's been here and there. everything works fine, but notification is an issue. I have had to change phones quite a number of times, and still I don't get messages in quick time. I do not get a message counter or even an app dot notification, and until I click on the app manually myself, I really don't see any notification. the only way I keep up is via email and that too is a bottleneck.
