Maid Upp
Yeah this is a good app. I tried Novelist and it was just menu after menu and rubbish. This lets you go straight to the editing but keep it organised. Loses a star for zipping files, no margin control and I can't see how to do full font text. Don't care, I can write with it.

Quite simply the best app for writing I've come across. Simple, clean UI with all the useful customisations I wish were the standard. I've knuckled down and done the most productive writing sessions with this bad boy. Doesn't bother you with ads or any of that nonsense. I'm highly considering donating/buying the โProโ version just out of respect of the standard version being so good. One thing I absolutely wish would be added is a PC version of this so I can access my writing across devices.

very simple and easy to use, i only write for fun so im not sure if it has everything for a professional writer but id highly recommend this app. the only thing i really have issue with is you have to pay to change the letter count to word count :/ it sucks such a basic thing is for paying only imo. im not sure if its a paid option only but there doesnt seem to be a way to bold/italic/cross out words, id really like that to be an option but otherwise 10/10 app!

No, the feature is totally free, on editor page, just click the floating text count widget to change its behavior.
