The whole concept is quite nice. Unfortunately, the lack of a language setting makes it sometimes nonsensical. I'm located in Europe, but I get pricing in US dollars and promotions tailored for the US public. You are supposed to have the language of your phone reflecting your location! That's not OK. What about multilingual people like me?

This app is absolutely basic, almost rustic. There are no filters per activity therefore you get all sort of unnecessary invitations. It is difficult to find the right activity since all activities are showed per distance radius. There is no dark theme which makes the phone battery warmer and spends unnecessary battery. The price for premium is an absurd.

I joined Meet5 because I was simply looking to make new friends, but the app has been disappointing. Many of the profiles I came across were already deactivated, which made the app feel inactive. Nearly all of the activities were about an hour away from me, and most seemed to revolve around bars, I don't need an app to hang out at the bar. I also encountered scammers or married men. I was not looking for dating drama or nightlife. I was just hoping to find genuine local friendship.
