[App Permissions]

EGLOO uses the following permissions to provide its services.

■ Required Permissions
None. No permissions are required to use the app.

■ Optional Permissions
- Notifications: Used to send motion and sound detection alerts and device status notifications.
- Nearby devices: Used to connect via Bluetooth during initial device setup.
- Microphone: Used for two-way audio (talking through the camera) and recording lullabies and voice profiles.
- Photos and videos: Used to save snapshots, recordings, video clips, and downloaded videos to your phone.
- Location: Used to scan for nearby Wi-Fi networks (SSIDs) when connecting your device to Wi-Fi. We do not collect GPS location or address information.

You can use the app without granting optional permissions. Only the features that require those permissions will be unavailable.
If you have denied a permission, you can enable it at any time by going to Settings > Apps > EGLOO > Permissions on your phone.

Ratings and reviews

The last firmware update has killed it. Now stuck in an upgrade firmware loop. Reset camera, still don't work. Having to buy another camera now. No where to get help on this either.

Update has killed most functions on the camera, updated app and still no fix. Always asks for F/W update. Was a great app until the update. Now cameras are only useful for viewing not recording to SD card. Very disappointed.

The app was OK but the camera is terrible its saying that the firmware needs updating but when you go to do this it's saying it has the up to date version!!
