The Greedy Cave is a classic dungeon adventure Roguelike game with an overall mysterious and spooky style. You never know what will be on the next level of the cave! 400 layers of random terrain maze, more than 60 different monsters and bosses, more than 300 pieces of collectible equipment with random attributes, and 20,000+ words of clue-based plot! Welp it was going well uploaded all my saves and came back almost a year later knowing I was in Hell 16 with all heroes unlocked and massive upgrades in all my cards. Download my save since as usual it restarts your progress every update and im starting back at Nightmare lvl 31 with no cards, no heroes unlocked, and a base level pet. It took ages to get to that point... I am honestly so upset :( definitely not playing after being set back that far...

Quite enjoy this game but the occasional bugs really ruin the experience. As well as the incredibly poor level of English writing really makes the game feel cheaper and unfinished. The balancing and distribution of item drops are a little too inconsistent, with sometimes you going through 10 levels finding nothing. And other runs where you have way too much to carry. It really feels like this game is really new and still missing a lot of features or patches, but it's actually quite an old game.

passes the time well enough. I remember when this was on kongregate and i liked it then what bothers me though is the fake adventurers in town and leaderboards. had me fooled at first. i really thought these were other players and frankly why not? it shouldn't matter and I've kept on playing for my own enjoyment. consider finishing the leaderboard guys. let's see what other players are really up to. that's the point. as is it's just a system generated hi score table like arcade machines of yore.
