As much as I love the app's snappiness (it's native instead of WebView-based like the official app) and its quick capture shortcut in the system share menu, it has on two occasions caused data loss, and I've only noticed the loss because I numbered each items in the list manually and there's an inexplicable gap/incorrect ordering every once in a while that doesn't get resolved by itself.

This used to be a 5-star app for me but it seems there was an update sometime in the last few weeks that slowed things down. It no longer appears as a simple pop-up with cursor ready to type, and with an option to send and close. Now there are 2-3x more taps to enter a simple note and get back to the app you were last using. Additionally, the app often takes 3-4 seconds to open on my 3-month old pixel 3a, whereas the previous version seemed to load in a fraction of a second. EDIT: Oh wow, thanks for the prompt reply, Louis! I didn't even realize the long-press on an app for launch options was an android feature. I think if you could make that more obvious from the main app, that would be helpful. The 'Quick Dialog' does indeed load very quickly, which is all I care about.

Thanks for your feedback. 3-4 seconds sounds way too long indeed, I will look into that. But the quick dialog is still there! You can put it on your homescreen by long pressing the app icon and dragging 'Quick Dialog' anywhere. Alternatively there is also a 'quick setting' that you can add to your notification shade that opens the dialog.

Works Flawlessly. Lets you add the task quickly to the Dynalist Inbox. I am not sure if the apps reports back on failure. A useful UI element would be to have Cancel, Next and Ok button. Pressing next adds task and keep the dialogue box active. Pressing ok would add the task and close the dialogue box. EDIT: It is actually better the way it is. Please ignore the UI part of the comment. I am very glad using it. Thank you for developing it.
