Its a four, there are some ads not too many like some games. Also there is a timer but no limit I've found yet. I think it's so you can go back to that game to try and beat your own score. You can't fail because when there's no matches left it shuffles them. The pictures can make you go cross eyed but that just adds to the fun and concentration of the game. Highly recommended if you don't mind a few ads

Music is beautiful, calm and really sets the mahjong mood. The backgrounds are nice, not bright or over the top. That said. The levels are very easy, no real challenge to them making this game not very entertaining and not very stimulating. The other issue, no way to save your progress so if you get a new device you will lose everything you have done. To some that is no big deal but, to others this might be a deal breaker.

Easy to play, doesn't seem to have doubles that affect the outcome. One thing I really disliked is the animation of the board; once you clear some tiles off, the size of the board is gradually readjusted to the size of your screen. Totally unnecessary and it makes me dizzy!
