Ratings and reviews

In theory, this is a cool game. I like isometric strategy games and history. But in practice, it's a slog. The main problem are AI allies in Scenario (which you have to complete to unlock over game modes) who either take the port/ city you've been sieging (so it's now no use to you), clog up the very tight number of squares so you can't move anywhere or basically make stupid strategic decisions that you really have to support or they get wiped out. Redoing missions take too much time. A slog.

Been playing this one for years and I can say I absolutely love it, I love how the gameplay has progressed, I love the updates, even now after so much there is still more potential to be added. The one problem I do have is with the newer auto attack feature, it's very VERY bad at strategizing, I think players should be given the option to chose between several auto attack strategies, especially during defense events, allowing units to permanently stay within cities.

Fun game, alot of different things to do. The game has a Soviet bias in conquest challenge modes. Slow progression without spending cash but overall good to play and many different modes. The modern warfare parts seem out of place and shouldn't be in the game as constituted. Customer service sucks and my game has a glitch were I can't upgrade certain upgradable general skills orthis would be 5 stars all day.
