প্রধান প্রধান ইবাদত ছাড়াও, রমজানের ৩০ দিনের আমল ও ফজিলত মুসলমানদের আল্লাহ আশীর্বাদ এবং রহমত পাওয়ার আরেকটি উপায়। মুসলমানদের প্রতিদিন ইবাদতের পাশাপাশি, রমজান মাস এমন একটি উপলক্ষ যেখানে মুসলমানেরা রমজানের আমল করে। রমজান মাস মুসলমানদের বিভিন্ন ধরনের দোয়া ও আমলের মধ্য দিয়ে অতিবাহিত হয়। রমজান মাসের ক্যালেন্ডার অনুযায়ী মুসলমানদের রোজা করার পাশাপাশি এই পবিত্র মাসে বেশি বেশি ইবাদত করতে হয় যাতে আরো বেশি পুরস্কার পাওয়া যায়।
রমজানের ফজিলত হল এই পবিত্র মাসে আল্লাহ মুসলমানদের উপর রহমত, ক্ষমা এবং আশির্বাদের দরজা খোলে। রমজানের সময় সূচি অনুযায়ী এই মাসে সাওম সাধনা করার জন্য মুসলমানরা উদ্বিগ্নভাবে অপেক্ষা করে। বিশ্বের প্রতিটি অংশে মুসলমানদের দ্বারা এই মাসটিকে স্বাগত জানানো হয় এবং এই মাসটিকে সম্মানের সাথে গ্রহণ করা হয়। মসজিদগুলো মানুষের সাথে পরিপূর্ণ, কুরআন পাঠ করা হয় এবং রোজার ফজিলত সম্পর্কে সকলকে অবগত করা হয়। এই মাসে মুসলমানরা আল্লাহ পরাক্রমশালী থেকে ক্ষমা চাইতে বিশেষ প্রস্তুতি গ্রহণ করে এবং তাঁর আশীর্বাদ এবং রহমতের জন্য রোজার নিয়ত করে সাওম সাধনা করে।
