2018 Ford Explorer The app worked fine up to the point where it says to turn on the hazard lights and press continue. Every time I tried, it would say "communication failed". I couldn't call support because it was a Saturday so I started reading reviews. One mentioned that it only worked with the phone really close to the dongle, so I tried that and everything worked perfectly. I just left my phone on the floor until it finished. I hope this helps anyone having problems getting it to work.

Quick process. Hardest part was finding the port for the dongle. Fortunately in my case it was easily accessible and it didn't have to take any panels off. It barely took 5 minutes for me.

Followed all the steps. My new key didn't work. Called the technical support and it says that their offices are closed and their normal business hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm central time. Well I shouldn't have got that message because it is Friday right now and it's 12:46 Central Time. I am within their hours of operation and they have an outgoing message saying that they're closed. I'm assuming they closed for the 4th of July on the 3rd.
