BT didn't work iNitially and App will be immediately exiting when tap scan to pair. Finally found this app worked on grandpa smart phone (android 9.0). And the smart phone should be put very close to the dongle , otherwiSe bt cant be found. The instruction is not clear

Used on 2019 Chevy Sonic (Push Start). Plugged in the device, followed the prompts on the app, kept the key and bluetooth-enabled phone nearby, and was done in about 20 min. I was surprised how smoothly it went. There are indeed a lot of steps where something could potentially go wrong, so I get why others may have had issues. It did have some sort of assistance options throughout the process though, so that was reassuring.

The app and device were easy enough to use but now none of the keys will lock the doors using the remote. The two previous keys and the one new key programed with this app and device all work in the ignition, door, and will remotely unlock the doors as well as honk the horn with the panic button but now I can no longer lock the doors using the remote even with the two keys that were previously working.
