In The Day the Earth Stood Still, a contemporary reinvention of the 1951 science fiction classic, renowned scientist Dr. Helen Benson (Jennifer Connelly) finds herself face to face with an alien called Klaatu (Keanu Reeves), who travels across the universe to warn of an impending global crisis.

The movie starts promising, but ends with a sizzle and a moral hangover. Don't expect much -- then you'll find the lack of story and shallow characters won't get too much in the way of the special effects.

This is one of the best-all time movie with a deep message to humanity. But unfortunately, the subtitle is not properly sync. Please do fix it and I'll add one more star for the rating. (^_^)
