The ``MICHIBIKI Sea Elephant Buoy'' is a wave height measurement system that utilizes GPS data obtained by the MICHIBIKI Quasi-Zenith Satellite.
This is shaped into a small buoy and stays offshore. As a result, it is now possible to monitor wave height and current at approximately 30 minute intervals.
The information measured by the Michibiki Sea Elephant Buoy is sent to a data analysis system, and the data is analyzed and calibrated using AI that has learned past statistics, bringing the values closer to accuracy.
