The horse can choose to move to eight points around at a time, so it is said to be "powerful from all directions". If there are other pieces blocking the direction it wants to go, the horse cannot move over, commonly known as "stuck horse legs".
Soldier (pawn): Before crossing the river, the soldier (pawn) can only move forward step by step. After crossing the river, except for not being able to retreat, it is allowed to move left and right, but only one step at a time. There is a saying that "a pawn crossing the river is half a chariot".
