About this app

Incheon Global Campus is a global education project promoted by the South Korean government. It aims to become "Northeast Asia's premier global education hub." It is a national initiative designed to foster next-generation talent who will lead Korea's educational innovation, economy, industry, culture, and the arts.

To achieve this, the central government and Incheon Metropolitan City invested approximately KRW 1 trillion to create a joint campus capable of hosting 10,000 students, with the goal of attracting 10 prestigious international universities. As a cradle of global education, the campus will contribute to enhancing Korea's growth potential.

Universities accepted into the Incheon Global Campus:
- Grant the same degrees as those offered at the home campuses of prestigious foreign universities. Students who complete their studies at Incheon Global Campus universities will receive degrees from prestigious foreign universities, just like students at their home campuses.

- Classes follow the same curriculum as at the home campus.
Universities accepted at Incheon Global Campus are not branch campuses of prestigious foreign universities, but rather independent extended campuses or global campuses.
Unlike branch campuses of overseas universities, extended campuses operate under the same curriculum as the home campus, and all academic operations and regulations, including admissions, graduation, and degree conferment, are directly managed by the home campus.

- Faculty members are also dispatched directly from the home campus.
Faculty members from each university are dispatched from the home campus, and all courses are taught in English. Departments offered at Incheon Global Campus are primarily those recognized as the most outstanding and competitive at the home campus. Therefore, admitted students can learn the best curricula from universities around the world right here at Incheon Global Campus.

- Students spend one year at the home campus. Students enrolled at Incheon Global Campus spend three years at the Incheon Campus and one year at the home campus, taking the same classes as home campus students and experiencing the culture of their home campus. Students at the home campus are also free to come to Incheon Global Campus to study.
