I liked the Roku that I put on my phone before this one was better because you could cut the TV off with it. And it went right to the control panel. This one goes to a screen of all the service options ( Hulu, britbox,etc) and too many pop up ads

Cannot find my device. I just bought this device, and plugged it into the tv, the remote doesn't work, and this app keeps asking if my device is in the same wifi as my phone!? Well.. if I could get a remote to work .. I could set that up!
