The new Powerstep Smart Series is the latest innovation to bring more control for the electric-powered running board right to your fingertips. Enjoy the in-app flexibility to override your steps to stay up or down, as well as power on/off the integrated or an auxiliary LED light system.

App is sub par at best. It's not terribly intuitive. Crashes often. I had to disable the password feature because it kept locking me out and wouldn't connect. It would be great to have a feature that allows the user to select when the lights will go on. For example, having the Aux lights turn on during the night but off during the day. This should be an automatic feature and not something that needs to be manually turned on or off. App stability and user flexibility should be a priority.

Works great when it works. Unfortunately, that about 2% of the time. Freezes up, won't retract or deploy when selected. Have to unplug and replug OBD module to find steps. Second OBD module, first one failed completely. Wishing I would have just used the dash switch as I had in my past trucks was way more reliable, faster, and easier to use

The steps are ok. The app would be pretty nice if you could get it to work. Can't save the steps. If you save them, you'll never be able to log back in. If you don't, it's hit or miss. Garbage app. Almost not worth getting the smart step because this app is so bad.
