ARPA Campania (Campania's Regional Agency for Environmental Protection) provides citizens with a free, easy-to-use app that allows them to view the real-time results of environmental control and monitoring activities conducted throughout the region.
Thanks to an intuitive interface, you can select an area of interest and quickly access environmental data to check its updated status.
The app is divided into three main sections:
• Bathing Water
This section is dedicated to water quality along the Campania coastline. It allows you to view updated data on bathing suitability and water quality class.
• Pollen
This provides information on pollen concentration levels of the main allergenic families present in Campania. Specifically, it allows you to monitor the dispersion of pollen and Alternaria spores, detected by the ARPAC Aerobiology Laboratory.
• Air Quality – "Respira Campania"
This provides daily and weekly air quality data, collected by monitoring stations throughout the region. Users can select the station of interest via an interactive map or list and, in the "Favorites" section, save the areas of greatest interest, activating real-time notifications regarding the levels of the main pollutants monitored:
PM10 and PM2.5 particulate matter
Nitrogen dioxide (NO₂)
Carbon monoxide (CO)
Ozone (O₃)
Benzene (C₆H₆)
Sulfur dioxide (SO₂)
"Reports" Form
The interactive "Reports" form is also available within the Air Quality - "Respira Campania" section. By logging in with SPID, citizens can submit reports regarding olfactory nuisances in their area, describing the type of odor perceived and indicating its intensity on a predefined scale. The reports will be managed by the Agency for technical and scientific analysis purposes.
