About this app

A/D watchface stands for Analog/Digital. This watchface for Wear OS always shows a digital clock and smoothly animates into an analog/digital clock combination after a flick of your wrist.

A/D has many features:
● Smooth animation between when switching to and from ambient mode
● Configurable complications (1, 2 or 4), also supports background complications such a Muzei
● Configurable fonts
● Configurable colors
● Enable/disable analog clock in ambient mode
● Different numerals styles
● Enable/disable analog clock

Note: this watchface is optimized for round devices, but works on square devices without any issues.

Note 2: This watchface is NOT compatible with Samsung Gear devices or other smartwatches not running Wear OS.

This is a great watcface.and it's free. Go figure! Well, you should donate. I did after a couple of hours using it. It's that good. I use it with fitness and DarkSky weather complication on the bottom. Looks just right. I wish we could set font also for complications, especially size. And being able to set background color would be great also. So five stars, and six if background and complication fonts settings are added! And we need an update. There's no watchface as good as this right now!

Every so often, I discover a gem amongst the mountains of poorly written apps, and I found one when I installed the A/D Watchface. It's a joy, easy to configure, lots of options, nicely thought out and intuitive, and no bugs that I've found. It's even easy on the battery (I originally thought it was power hungry but I think that was just me spending hours fiddling with it). My only complaint is that I wish it had the option - like my previous three watchfaces did - to have three active buttons (complications). I reckon they would fit, one either side and one just above the 6. Still, I finally have a watchface I like. From one software developer to another, take a bow, Maarten.

Every time i try a different face, i end up coming back to this one. I haven't found any watch face that's this customizable and clean. My only wishes are: -The complications font could be smaller. My calendar events are cut off after the first word, which is kind if annoying -I wish there were a few options for the hands. even just 2-3 options for each hand would make a world of difference. If this is ever implemented, i request the Milgauss second hand please :)
