As in Wordle, there is a secret five-letter word that we have to try to guess while the game itself indicates the letters that we are getting right.

After entering the word and pressing Enter, the letters of the proposed word are colored Green / Yellow / Gray.

This is an EVIL version of the Wordle, absurdle avoids giving you an easy answer. With each try, Absurdle reveals as little information as possible, changing the secret word if necessary.

Try to solve it in less than 12 attempts and share your results on Twitter or social networks.

At first I kept starting with same words I used for wordle and quardle and it was boring! Then I figured out how to direct the game to be more challengeing. Start with letters you want to eliminate first, like money. Otherwise your final word will always be mammy! Pick words that eliminate as many lett we rs as possible. Once you figure it out, if can be quite fun!

The negative reviews must be from people who don't understand the game. It is Wordle and playing it like Wordle is a mistake. You eliminate letters that you don't want to be in the answer and in doing so you back the ap into a corner where the remaining letters can only form a few words. And also unlike Wordle, you can play Absurdle multiple times a day by letting a 30 sec advert play.

It's ok, every time I start with my normal beginning word to find vowels, it seems to give me a word with lo as the second and third letter. I guessed 7 words 5 of which had the lo in the word, 2 times I started with lo and it gave me different words then. After the 7th it wouldn't let me type letters into the boxes even though it registered the enter option. Not a bad game though, I like it.
