Ratings and reviews

The only mechanic that needs to be fixed is the lacking gyroscope sensitivity. Players who use the gamepad have an advantage at the moment. This game is a ton of fun and it doesn't force you to spend money if you want to go far in the game. I just wish it had a campaign or more interesting single player missions. Close combat can be a bit repetitive. By adding a stalling mechanic if you slow down too much closer dog fights could be made more interesting and add another layer of skill.

Yes!!! Finally found the control sensitivity I was looking for, it's perfect. So far it seems I can actually progress in this one. Well done on this one guys. Edit: changing to 4* because there's a serious problem with campaign missions. Some of them lag so bad you can't play them. Others run smooth. They're stuck on the map too. No way to cycle them.

The pay-to-win mechanics of this game are too obvious and too laborious for it to be any fun for a new player. There are not enough missions or variety of play types to sustain my interest long enough to upgrade the planes sufficiently for single player mode, much less compete in PvP battles. I find myself sitting around waiting for crates to unlock...? No, thanks. Having played Ace Combat 5 on PS2 when it was new fifteen years ago, this game just doesn't impress.

1. Added 4 new aircraft: Class C agile "LCA Mk1 Tejas", Class B balanced "Tornado IDS", Class A attacker "F-15EX Eagle II", Class S defender "EA-18G Growler".
2. New Air Base gameplay: build, upgrade, capture enemy bases and plunder resources.
3. New optional special attribute pool: store up to 6 special attributes per aircraft.
4. New weapon: aerial bomb to destroy buildings in Air Base mode.
