The game itself is fun, albeit with a somewhat inconsistent difficulty curve (Mars was a brick wall but the next few planets have been easy by comparison). The main thing holding me back from giving it 5 stars is the performance. Once I have a lot of ammo boxes and there are lots of enemies coming in the game starts to freeze up every couple of seconds and it becomes very difficult to play.
Thanks for the feedback, William! I’m aware of performance issues, especially with munitions off-screen, I will work on optimizing this. I also hear you on Mars being too hard compared to other planets, I’ll adjust the difficulty and add new planets soon!

so, i was enjoying this game for a while, until you changed it. Now i have to watch ads just to open the board??? What kind of garbage is that? Im done. Uninstalling as soon as this is submitted. EDIT: 1 ad? no. but having to watch multiple ads just to open spaces? yes. that was the wrong place to insert money makers. Micro transactions, voluntary ad for a boost, but not just to play. I appreciate the solo dev setup and effort, just tweak how youre setting it up.

Hello J.G. There are no mandatory ads, you can finish the game without any..
You enjoyed the game, thank you for that,
I've been pouring my heart into this project for months as a solo dev, any support is valuable to me, so is watching 1 ad too much to ask for? The second spot is so high up the board that it wasn’t used by most ppl so I put an ad

I guess the main issue orbiting the Ad Loot Box is its revenue 'vs' the ad skip purchase. Devs need to profit. Anyone arguing against that point, even tangential, should be ignored. But the issue, imo, is selling an option to remove something that only removes a small segment of the overall. We still need to watch ads for extra ammo bricks and the bonus loot box. So, what did I get with my money spent? For me, there's nothing that can be added to that option to justify my interaction with an ad.

Thanks for your feedback! The current “remove ads” option only removes forced ads—rewarded ads give extra ammo and loot and can’t be removed without breaking the game balance. I’m considering adding a system of free reward tickets that could let you skip a reward video while still keeping a cooldown to preserve balance.
