About this app

Back In Safe is a comprehensive mobile application meticulously crafted to facilitate the meticulous recording and monitoring of maritime voyages, ensuring utmost safety and accountability for vessels navigating the open sea. Tailored to the needs of maritime enthusiasts and professionals alike, this app enables users to seamlessly document their trips, including vital details such as vessel information, emergency contacts, and associated vehicles.

Leveraging advanced alerting mechanisms, the app promptly notifies volunteers of any tardy vessels, while also meticulously tracking vessels due within 6, 12, 24, and 24+ hours, ensuring heightened vigilance and preparedness.

Moreover, users have the flexibility to personalize their maritime profiles by adding their own vessels and vehicles, thereby enhancing the app's utility and relevance to individual needs. By prioritizing user safety and convenience, Back In Safe emerges as an indispensable tool for maritime enthusiasts and professionals seeking to navigate the seas with confidence and peace of mind.

The purpose of gathering your personal details within this app is strictly to assist our volunteers with adequate information if in the unlikely event that you or your passengers require rescuing from sea. Only in a life threatening situation would we share this data with other emergency services. Back In Safe is proudly supported by Kimberley Community Grant Scheme, Water Corporation WA and Lions Club of Broome Inc. This app was developed by Daktech and is monitored by the volunteers of the East Kimberley Volunteer Sea Rescue Group.
