The DSV Bible is the first official Dutch-language translation of the Bible, made directly from the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek texts in 1637. It was authorized by the State of Netherlands and became the most important Bible in Protestants churches.

The original languages of the Bible are Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek.
The Old Testament was mostly written in Hebrew and some passages in Aramaic.

The New Testament was written in Greek.

I am Afrikaans speaking but love our rooted language. The context gets better meaning. I have an original Bible with references but it is very very old and I must use it with great care. I just would have liked to have the same references here.

Supposedly an audio bible. Mechanical voice that dies not recognise the words in Dutch and is trying to read it in English. Ridiculous!
