About this app

This portal has been developed with the objective to provide a single source of information about the facts and statistics related to the Energy of the seven (7) BIMSTEC Countries comprising of Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand. It consists with the following main objectives:

To disseminate data/information on the key indicators of power/energy sector for all the BIMSTEC countries in the form of MIS and other reports, for meaningful decisions by them.

To reduce information/data asymmetry, promote data transparency and help high quality data research and analysis for the benefit of all the stakeholders and public at large.

To create a single point, user-friendly platform which enables data analytics for the energy/power data and information related to the BIMSTEC countries.

Act as information repository for the power/energy sector of BIMSTEC countries and provide regular updates through collective effort of the participating countries.
