Good app that is well designed, easy to use, and functional. I took two stars away because to show you the outdoor air quality (as reported by internet third-parties), you need to first log in, which isn't really needed, and then you need to give the app your precise (exact) location. Allowing it your approximate location (which is about a 1.5 mile radius) is easily good enough for your local air quality, but instead they want to know who you are and exactly where you live, which is unnecessary.

The app used to work and is as updated as it can be. It suddenly won't connect to my air purifier so it won't take any readings, and then all the links from the app say something won't wrong or simply won't respond (it won't change the temperature scale of C/F). This of course also means that contacting support easily is unfortunately not possible. Edit: Emailed them twice at the suggested email and it's been over a month, so still not great.

App looks great, shows useful information, but the timeline of air quality does not work as intended. The timeline itself is simply broken, and I cannot go back a few minutes/hours to see where my air quality was until the next day where hopefully it had recorded. Also, please consider a dark theme for this app so it's easier on the eyes at night, when I use it most.

We’re glad the app design and insights are helpful. The air-quality timeline should let you review recent readings so what you’re seeing isn’t expected. Please email us at app@blueair.com and reference this review, so we can investigate. We’ve also noted your dark-theme request and shared it with our product team!
