CIDEMO is a research center that brings together professionals committed to the common good of present and future generations in the eastern region of El Salvador. CIDEMO promotes emerging leadership, civic-citizen education and social research. Likewise, it has set itself the objective of being a prestigious research center in the eastern region of El Salvador, recognized nationally and internationally in the study of the main social, political, migratory, cultural and economic dynamics that affect the Salvadoran reality. . Thus, CIDEMO aims to be an actor committed to civic-citizen values ​​such as the defense of democracy, respect for human rights, the plural exercise of freedom, equity and social cohesion. Among his research initiatives, the following stand out: 1) Rule of Law and Judicial Reform. 2) Transparency and Citizen Participation. 3) Political representation of women. 4) Poverty, Socio-territorial and Developmental Inequality.
