Central Public School is a recognized and Co-educational Senior Secondary English Medium School, Affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E), Delhi. Vision of C.P.S. goes beyond the achievement of academic excellence and developing complete personality of every student & enabling them to rise their full stature. Central Public School was established in 1994 in a rented building at Sarfuddinpur, Near P.W.D. Office, Azamgarh. At present the School is functioning in a calm and quiet atmosphere in its sprawling campus of more than two acres having its own building at Jafarpur, Near Kanshiram Awas Colony, Azamgarh, which is four kilometers away from the Azamgarh City having students’ strength of over two thousand C.P.S. has carved out a proud place amongst the premier schools of the District.


The School has well equipped Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Maths laboratories. It also has a Geography, Social Science and two Computer Laboratories. The School Library has a good collection of books on various subjects alongwith magazines, newspapers and educational journals, etc. The School has its own electric and water supply system. Central Public School is the Founder Member of Azamgarh Sahodaya.

The School has got NOC, dated 27.03.2002, issued by the Special Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh. The School is managed by A.E.T.D.S.W.S., Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh. The registration of the society is valid upto 21.04.2024.
