About this game

CardGames.io is a collection of all your favorite card games, solitaire and puzzle games. It features 35 different games including the card games Hearts, Spades, Cribbage, Euchre, Gin Rummy, Rummy, Pinochle, Crazy Eights and fish, the solitaires Klondike (classic solitaire), FreeCell, Spider, Clock, Pyramid, and puzzle and board games like Backgammon, Reversi, Checkers, Chess and Yatzy.

You might have played them before on our website, https://cardgames.io , but using the app lets you keep your statistics forever, gives you full screen mode for all the games and lets you use extra player faces that are not in the web version. You can also play a few of the games in multiplayer mode against your friends, including in Chess, Checkers, Reversi and Backgammon.

Ratings and reviews

Great games. But support is really poor. Lots of bugs. You can be through out suddenly in a middle of a game with people (I even have screenshots). And you can never go back and rejoin a game that you participated in. People keep leaving games in the middle (or in the beginning) if they lose. Very annoying, but the last addition of blocking people, may help with that.

Great variety of games. I wanted a basic yatzy and solitaire without all the fancy bonus rounds and slot machine bling and this fits the bill. However it seems to stop working when I'm offline which is a big issue for me and as others say the dice rolls do seem a little suspicious at times. Hard to say if it really is rigged though as I've had some surprising throws myself. Could do with a no-anims / instant speed mode when i want to zip through a game afap.

I like the simple no-nonsense approach to the UI and the amount of games it has. I have to knock it down however due to the bias to the computer player. Backgammon is a perfect example of this. The computer player consistently gets doubles, quite often double sixes, while you receive incredibly low numbers roll after roll making it impossible to have a fighting chance, much less actually dream of winning. I enjoy a challenge, but this is so biased it's no longer fun, just frustrating.
